Onchain gameplay is the next big update to Pixel Kingdom Wars: your kingdom gathers realm resources, refines them at a new Workshop, and commits Forge Ingots to the Gold Forge for a share of KEEP mined into your own wallet. Everything you do today stays; the update adds a production chain, five new buildings, expeditions across the realms and a Seeker Island economy on top of the game you already play.

Onchain gameplay is in development on devnet; dates will be announced.

The onchain gameplay loop in motion: a realm ore, the Workshop at work, a Forge Ingot poured and set at the casting station, the Gold Forge at work, the KEEP coin and a Gem, joined by gold arrows
Fig. 1The new loop, left to right: gather realm resources, refine at the Workshop, cast Forge Ingots and commit them to the Gold Forge, claim KEEP to your wallet, convert KEEP to Gems to spend in game. Delivered asset-package frames, not regenerated; the in-game look may still change.

At a glance

  • One loop, five steps. Gather → refine at the Workshop → commit Forge Ingots at the Gold Forge (Forging KEEP) → claim through KEEP mining → spend in game with Gems.
  • KEEP goes to your wallet. Mining pays KEEP into your own wallet from a daily pool of up to 98,000 KEEP (gross). There is no claim fee, no minimum, and an allocation never expires. See KEEP mining.
  • Two new player records. EXP tracks your progression, and Renown is a permanent onchain record of the days you take part in KEEP mining. Neither can be bought or traded. See Renown and EXP.
  • Gems are the in-game currency. You convert KEEP to Gems at 1:1 and spend Gems on speed-ups, heroes and shop items without a wallet prompt for every tap.
  • Five new buildings. Workshop, Exploration Lodge, Market, Realm Harvester and Berth, each 2×2, one per base, 20 levels and 4 visual tiers.
  • Bases without a Land Deed take part too. Every base keeps a free starter boat and routes for the common resources. What a base without a Land Deed needs for KEEP mining will be announced.
  • An island tax on new production. You keep 80% of newly gathered resources and SHARDS and 80% of newly mined KEEP; the rest feeds the Seeker Island pool and future mining, never the team. See Seeker Island.
  • Raids stay instant. Nothing in this update adds travel or marching time to an attack.

The new loop, step by step

  1. Play and gather. Your Mines still dig SHARDS. New sources add the eight realm resources — one raw material per realm — from a Realm Harvester and from expeditions. Raw resources are stored in your Keep. See Expeditions and vehicles.
  2. Refine at the Workshop. 10,000 SHARDS become one Forge Ingot. Refining is deterministic: no failure roll and no SOL fee. The Workshop also turns raw resources into refined materials and materials into kits. See Workshop and Forge Ingots.
  3. Forge KEEP. Commit ingots to the Gold Forge. Committed ingots are protected from raids and count toward that day's mining. Your share of the day's funded pool reflects your recent activity, useful onchain actions, your base's progress and what you contributed — an idle, maxed base receives nothing.
  4. Claim with KEEP mining. Settled allocations are claimed straight to your wallet. You pay only the ordinary Solana network costs. See KEEP mining.
  5. Spend with Gems. Convert KEEP to Gems once, then speed-ups, recruits, buffs and extra Mines are paid in Gems with one tap. See Gems.
The Gold Forge interior: three dwarf smiths work the bellows, the anvil and the coin press while a cart of Forge Ingots waits by the furnace

Islands, crafting and items

Around the loop, onchain gameplay adds three special islands, two kinds of crafting and a much bigger inventory. Each has its own guide.

The locked numbers

These numbers are fixed for launch. Everything else — costs, timers, batch sizes, odds and the score formula — is still being tuned on devnet, so these pages describe it in words.

The currencies after the update

After the update the game has four spendable currencies. SHARDS, the eight realm resources and Crystal Fragments are resources, not currencies.

What stays exactly the same

  • Building, mining SHARDS, training, heroes, quests, the 100-stage campaign and raiding. The rules on Raids and loot do not change.
  • Raids are instant, and KEEP is never lootable. The one new raid rule: if a raid destroys your Keep, the attacker takes 1% of each raw realm resource stored there.
  • Your Land Deed, its base and everything that travels with it. See Land Deeds and realm tiles.
  • Up to 5 active bases per wallet, as today.
  • Campaign rewards, quest rewards (including the daily quest bonus) and mail rewards stay tax-free, and so do Gems.
